first outing with 10x6dd loop

I just received my 10x6 dd loop today. I had a few hrs to give it a try.
My first observations are these..
Being most of my ground is mid to high 80's the coil ran much quieter than the 950 loop.
I was able to run at +3 gain with no problem, something I could not do with the 950.
The depth was impressive I was averaging 6" finds and did get a quarter at a measured 8".
Target seperation was excellent as I was able to pick out targets sitting right next to trash.
I used cj mode and relic mode, switching back and forth, worked great in both modes.
I think this coil is going to end up staying right on the mxt, I never realized what I was missing.
Just my 2 cents worth

Hello to all, I have leido many post on 10x6 DD, but as the beach works when the ground from 5 to 7 is mineralized?

Its a bear to get the cover off it and the 4x6 so I wrapped electrical tape around where the coil cover ends and that keeps beach sand/debris from getting inside.
