first outing at old farm

Went to the old farm that has been there since the 1700's for the first time on saturday.
Found a 56 rosie, a 1939 british half cent, a 1981 indian and 5 wheaties of various dates. Also found 2 cast car toys, look to be about early 50's.
For some reason the mxt seemed to be going super deep, all my finds were at 6" plus. The ground there was high 50's and i used o disc and relic mode, 6x10 dd, machine never ceases to amaze me.
I still have problems locating deep targets, even with a pinpointer. It is some thing I have to practice.
Also vdi readings were fluctuating on most targets. I am asumming it was because of their depth.
I know there has to be some GOOD STUFF there, but the farm is huge ,over 200 acres I didnt even know where to start lol.
hh to all

That 6X10 coil is a great coil and does real well for us too as it is the coil we used the most and it does have some great depth to it. As you notice some of the deep targets will fluxuate a bit, but you know they are ones you want by the way they act.
Good luck and I hope you can get back to this site and work it some more as I feel you will find some great finds there.
