First Old House ... Old Bottles

Here is the situation. I am going to be hunting at a location where there was an old house - up until the last 10 years when it burned down. It was a homestead house so it was built around the 1900s ... maybe earlier. There is also an old dump near the house so ... lots of opportunity.

However, I've never hunted a site like this. Any suggestions on how to hunt it?

Also, given the old dump site is there I am sure there might be some old bottles in the pile. If any were still in tact is there a ready market for them? Any place I can find out values?

Better take the smallest coil you have. The old home sites are trashy.
