First Nugget with the 800

Finally had a chance to try my 800 in gold prospecting here in Colorado. Found this little Nugget in a tailings pile. Was using Gold 1, sensitivity 22 and factory settings for the rest. It showed up on the TDI as "2" [attachment 369244 SmallNuggett.JPG]
 
Wow that is cool. I wish there was places here in Michigan I could use my detector on gold. I think the closest is 1500 - 2000 miles lol
I’ve got the gold bug and am intrigued by that stuff bit driving that distance is out of the question.

Nice find I miss panning I used find gold in the Columbia river when I lived in Richland!
