First night with AT Pro scored great!

Just bought my AT PRO today after much research. On the way home I was dying to try it out in the last two hours of daylight. My adventure pack is on back order so I had no digging tool. I decided to hit a local site that just hosted a festival. Figured I would look for some coins or jewelry on the surface for a chance to get accustomed to the new machine. Long story short, I got the usual clad dimes and pennies but I also found a John Tyler $1 coin and a tungsten carbide men's ring. Looks like new. Internet shows prices from $100 to $350 for those rings. Funny thing too is the Presidents Edition $1 coin (2009) was 1 1/2 inches deep, AT PRO and the pro pointer hit it hard so I decided to dig with my fingers to get it outta the wet clay. I was getting frustrated having to pass on so many 6-8 inch 80's and 90's because i had no shovel that I decided I am going for it. I'm happy with my decision to get pick the AT Pro.

Soon as I figure out how to reduce the file size of my IPhone pics I will post them. And hopefully more later with some more success.

 Great start you definitely need to get back there and hunt once you get a digging tool!! By the way Lowes sells a heck of a handheld digger it has blue handles on it in case you can't wait!!

Excellent! Welcome to the Forum!:please: Get a 6" screwdriver (flat tip) with a 1/4" shaft and a comfortable grip for popping shallow targets. Don't get caught with a shovel in any park or sportsfield...You can get a huge amount of targets with nothing but a screwdriver. That's funny how you could not resist that signal and dug it up with your fingers! You got what it takes!

Nice! You can just let your nails grow like Howard Hughes and burrow down to your finds
