First nice ring after long break

It has been a long while since I logged in. I had not taken my Ace 250 out in a good long while. I loaded it up with fresh batteries and went out for a short hunt. One of the first trips I found a Euro one cent coin. Clad steel coin very small, I thought it was a game token at first then I saw the Euro marking. Another trip I had my best find a 925 sterling silver ring. It rang very clear on the $1.00 notch. First time to have a find mark that high on the screen. It is not a great value ring but for me a great memory for me. FYI I used the coin pop technique on the ring to get it out of the ground from about 4 inches down. Pulled another $4.10 the next trip from the same area in clad quarters and dimes. Most coins that day were popped out with a screwdriver. I think I have finally learned the screwdriver method to the place of being modestly efficent at it. Thanks all for the instructions.

Nice find... a ring recovery at 4 inches with a screwdriver is pretty good from a skill standpoint ...thats the way i do it as well...leaves the grass looking like we were never there...
