First necklace

Ukee

New member
Well guys told you this morning I was heading to long beach Canada and I found a silver plated necklace. Was about 5 inches down , had it on all metal and it read 40. I tried posting a pic of it but won't let me. Preety good find for second day hunting with my safari. :)

They shoulda named this thing Silver Magnet instead of Safari. Congrats!!!

But you guys are killin me with these finds on 40. All I can do is think of places I've pulled PMs with 40 notched out. Now I gotta rehunt them!!!

Ukee,
Most people will discriminate the #40 out by hitting the +/- button over the 40. Thus notching it out. It is kind of a double edge sword. You don't "notch" it out and dig a bunch of trash and occasionally hit a good item or you "notch" it and don't dig a bunch of trash and miss a few good items.
In coin mode, -1 to -10 is preset to be "notched" out.
Hope that helps,
Bunker

PS. Nice find!

Ok I'm a newbie with safari, think ill stay away from "notching" stuff out. Also today I noticed at beach today, -2 to -10 was always popping up on screen, kinda annoying but not that big of deal.
