First months finds with the new Dual Field PI...

Well the results are in and the general consensus is that this thing ROCKS! Only got out about 8 times for about 2 -3 hours each. This doesn't include all the junk earrings, fishing weights, and other usual junk that got tossed.

Two SS spinners, one titanium band, one silver, some gold, and one mac daddy NITRO!

The usual clad!

My first Grille!

Had this little baby been the real deal the machine would have paid for itself in the very first outing! This is why I don't mind diggin hair pins.

I'm still experimenting with the settings but I can tell you now this machine is super sensitive, stable, and goes DEEEEEEP! Good job White's!

Very nice HS :) I'll be getting mine by this weekend.. just got to find time to use it.. been hard getting out this year..

Very Impressive Loot for Only 8 Outings, HS! You may have changed my mind about the DF. The more I think about my conditions in Bermuda the more I am thinking that waterproofing a TDI may be overkill. Thanks Again for the feedback on the new DF, info on it is still as scarce as hen's teeth.

Cheers,

BDA

I think you would be wasting your time waterproofing the TDI. The Dual Field PI will do the deed. The only reason I can see for waterproofing a TDI is for Tone ID and Discrimination. It would probably be more trouble than its worth.

I think you're right, HS. The mineralization in Bermuda is almost zero so there's not much point of going with a machine designed specifically to overcome heavy mineralization. I've put an e-mail into a dealer I have a credit with in the U.S., so I'll see what kind of number he comes back with. Many thanks to the fellow pirates who PM'ed me what they paid for their dual field so I know what I should expect to pay.
How deep are you hitting on rings and the like, HS? I'm hoping that the DF will be good for chains as well, I rarely find chains and always the larger ones.

Thanks Mate,

BDA:cool:

Love it!! great hauls! Thats my next machine for sure!! shaka Mikey:thumbup:

Dude, you are in for a surprise. I didn't post it, but I found a thin gold fill chain that I know I would never had heard with the Excal. If I got a hit on that CZ stud you should know that gold chains are not a problem.

To keep everyone on the same page. I think alot of people look at these finds and say "what the hell I don't find that kind of stuff!" They don't see the labor involved. I always try to show all the crap I had to dig to weed out the goodies and if your using a PI it's gonna be a pile!!! Good Digging!!! That dual field looks to be an E ticket ride!!

Not really... not if you learn your PI and yes you can learn the subtle differences with a PI....

I always try to post my junk... Horse sorry for hijacking your thread...

This is typical PI junk for me at my beaches... PI's find deep junk ;)

Horsesoldier, thanks for the post. I recently purchased the Dual Field. Since I am going to use it in fresh water to get as deep as I can, where I know some deep goodies are lurking, I am glad to see the word that it does the job. I have a PI Pro and it goes deep, but always looking for more depth. Keep up the good work. Won't be using mine till they end the swimming season and the beaches clear out.
