First Mexican Pesos

Compadre found a 1000 & a 500 peso coins in the same hole Both 1989. Up here in Pa. I have found enough Asian, europe, & South American cions but for some reason these are my first Mexican coins. I gather their worth something like 15 cents together. Tell me if I'm wrong. Thanks
