First Mercury Dime

I first have to say may God be with these families who are going through
something they should never have to go through. It just goes to show the
evil that is in this world. The Love that is being poured out from many towns
in Connecticut is awesome. I just pray Lord that you would help authorities to
eliminate any chance of copy cat situations.

I started off this morning around 8:30 a.m. the ground was frozen so I headed to
the outskirts of the park. The park has some wooded areas surrounding it so I knew
the leaves would help inusate the ground from frost. When things warmed up a bit I
headed back to the fields. Toward the end of the hunt, I got a good signal it read quarter
dime and it didn't waiver. I was shocked because I was expecting to pull out a quarter or
a dime that was clad. This is my second silver from a well picked park it's been metal detected
by other hobbiests for years. The last one was a seated. I also found a 1937 wheaty and a 1945

Huge Congratulations! Way to get out and work it, even with the frost and all..:clapping:.killer coin!

Congrats!! Hank

WTG on the first Mercury dime. I thought I would never find one and have found two in the last 3 Saturdays. 1925 & 1944. Congratulations and HH. The day didn't get out of the 40's the other day and the wind was blowing out of the North-East, but I'm not hard core enough to get out in the snow and ice. Maybe that park has some more silver hiding out just waiting on your coil to find it.

That's awesome I'm really happy for you, I'm glad that some of the people that weren't getting
silver are now cashing in congrats on all your new finds and HH.
