First Mercury Dime

It finally happened..I found my first mercury dime at the beach near pilings from old mining docks. But I cannot see the date and don't know how to clean it up properly. I'll wait until I get advice from the experts.... that's you guys. Thanks
 
Try soaking the dime in a solution of 1 part vinegar with 1 part water for about 4-6 hours, then lightly go over with a toothrush and soap. See where that gets you.
