First Merc with my 250

Well today I found my first merc with my new ace 250. I am so ecstatic that I found the coin that I have a special love for. My dad gave me a couple of them years ago and fell in love with them ever since. So today I was hunting an old Air Base that has been there since the early 30's, first find was a 43 war nickel, and then BAM my 44 merc peaked out and said hey here I am. Hope you all enjoy the picks, the coins look a little bad but they are much better then they look in the pictures.

Silver war nickels are nice too. You know there's more silver in two war nickels than in a silver dime. Nice finds.

Thanks for the replies guys, I am taking my son out tomorrow with me, he's skipping school, but we are going to clean up on the silver. We are going to take the 250 and the tesoro silver umax with us and see what we find. I hope he finds a little silver, it would make his day for sure, He hasn't found anything since his 1881 IH. Sure would make him feel good. I will update you all later if we find anything.

I look forward to my first silver coin. especially a mercury dime. skipping school to metal detect with your dad is the best reason I know of to miss a school
