First MD arrived today and.....

First MD arrived today and..... within 15 minutes I made my first find. In the front yard about 3" deep a 1966 quarter.

I bought an Ace 250 after reading many of the post here. It was easy to work. I was able to zero in on the target without any trouble. I thought it would be a good first machine for me, and one to pass along for the kids. I can upgrade later to a beach PI machine.

I aw an ad for 90% silver coins.....

I had no idea. This adds another level of fun to the hobby. Maybe my next quarter will not be clad.

I don't know about the coins. I don't think you'll be passing the 250 to the kids. I believe you will only have to buy more 250's to give to your kids. Good job on your first find with the 250!

Pure silver closed today at $12.75 per ounce (USA dollar). $12.75 x the 715 ounces would be $8987.55. the coins aren't pure so I wouldn't buy them at that price ($9063.95).

Yeah they're only about 90% silver.
