It was warmer in the North and South pole a few days ago then it was in Edmonton. So.....we got a heat wave today and it warmed up to -4C/28.4F. My seat heater broke in my car last week, so I picked up the car today, and snuck out for nearly 2 hours for a woods hunt before the sun set at 4:30 this afternoon. I got a spent bullet, a round metal ball at 6 inches and 3 coins. I also dug up a 16 ounce empty bottle. Not sure what was in that?

I again used the 6.5" x 9" concentric coil, as there were many trees and bushes to search around and a smaller coil was a real asset. I hunted in true all metal mode, as there were few targets.

Went home and prepared a nice batch of pork jerky!

That looks like a pretty nifty blue handled ice breaker you picture too.
