First major coin

I was using my BH Elite in my gravel driveway today and got an indication of a $1 coin at 7 inches. After about 30 minutes of exploring the rocky soil, and using my Harbor Freight pin pointer, I hit pay dirt. The only marking on it is the letters "AC" Can any of you help me identify the country that coined this beauty as well as the mint and issue date?

Great sense of humor; never know what you will find...

I've dug a couple of those myself......

Told me once that I found 50 cents, and sure enough out popped two quarters....wish it was always that easy! Still waiting on that 50 cent piece.

It is actually a mechanical AC brand of fuel pump. It could have been there since World War II as far as I know. I live one block north of where an old pioneer fellow had a cabin in the 1850s. There used to be a large mansion across the street where my house is. I may have tapped into the top of the mansion's old dump as far as I know.

ive found 3 candian loonies they all read 50 cent guess thats counting forien exchange
