First Large Cent

Went out with the MXT Sunday afternoon when the rain stopped. Hit an old orchard next to my driveway and some PSE&G property. Found the usual aluminum siding scraps and 2 memorial cents. I decided to try where there was a sand pile when I was a kid figured I could find some old hot wheel cars. Only got 1 old matchbox lincoln continental. About 10 feet from that I got a hit that kept jumping between quarter and half dollar decided to dig it to see what it was. I'm glad I did it was a 1828or 38 large cent (can't quite read the date.

Nice old coin..Picture looks fuzzy.

Great!

Congrats! You deserve it!

What is its value? For how much it can be sold? Where?

I was tickled to death that he found it and that I was so close that he yelled my name to come see it! That was priceless! It's not all about the "hunt", it's the friendship that comes with it. My turn will come some day along with many others! And if not, that's OK too. It's so great to see things like that come out of the ground. WOW........all great finds!!! HH to all, Nancy
