First Indian Head with the V3i

I just wanted to say thanks Rob for the help the other day. I had a chance to get back out this morning to the late 1700

Believe me you haven't reached max performance yet but you are getting there. Good luck and glad you got the Indian. ROB

Nice indian.... You would really appreciate the 5.3 and the 4x6. The 5.3 in my own opinion is an absolute must have and I favor it more than the 4x6.

Love finding Indians :twodetecting::whites::buds:

nice indian, +74? was that 3 freq , thats really high for an indian, did it read like that out of the ground?

Rob - I'm very patient however, I am looking forward to the day that I can hit max performance because right now I feel like I've been given the Space Shuttle and I'm bragging that I figured out how to operate the toilet! :wiggle:

Kyledfx: I went back to the plantation house today and brought the Indian Head with me. I went back to the same hole and re-scanned it three more times to make absolutely sure there was nothing else in it. I dropped the penny in at 6 inches and this is what I came up with;

Discrimination Mode: In the ground, 3 Freq. +82 - +88 VDI back and forth. Also, showed quarter only. (The 7.5 khz was the predominate in polar plot)

Discrimination Mode: In the ground, 2.5 Freq. +72 - +78 VDI back and forth. Also, showed as a penny / dime consistently. (The 7.5 khz was the predominate in polar plot) This is what I was running yesterday when I found it.

Discrimination Mode: Out of the ground, +54 and jumping lower to +36 and back to +54. Reads as a bottle cap / Zinc penny. That is in 3 Freq. (The 7.5 khz was the predominate in polar plot)

I hope this helps.

interersting test, my soil in maine responds differently. thanks for your input.
