Hey everyone. The CoinMaster has finally showed me it can find the deep coins!
I got permission to hunt my neighbor's house, that was built in 1695. I was given the history of the house and surrounding property. They told me all about the previous owners of the house and gave me some good ideas of where they thought I would find the most.
I got to the back of the property, near the woods, and on the CoinMaster, I got a zinc penny/penny signal at around 6 inches. I dug down, and sure enough, I saw a penny sized coin in the dirt.
I cleaned it off a little and I saw there weren't very good details on it. It wasn't until after it dried when I found out it was an Indian Head! From what I can see, I'd say it is either from 1864 or 1894.
I also found an old buckle close by to the IHP. It was a great hunt and I'm looking forward to get back there soon! Good luck & HH!
