First impressions of the F-75

Hi everyone

Picked up a F-75 last week and have been detecting a hillside near my work (1 hr lunch hunts) just to kind of get a feel for it. Took it out last night for its first real hunt to a graded 50's housing area. 4H/ JE 65/ disc 25 with GB 3 numbers above actual GB When I first started out the iron and low foil sounds were just too much so I knocked them out (disc 25). I tried dp then 3H but ended up liking 4H the best. This place was loaded with 50s and 60s copper cents so it was a interesting and noisy night! The speed and separation were awesome with most coins coming in at the 4-5 inch range. The hits were solid and the machine performed well and I dug only a few pieces of aluminum trash and NO IRON. Pinpointing is a little tricky at first but after awhile I figured it out. The only problem that I had was that I couldn't see the numbers on the display that well (angle was wrong). I am going to take it to my prooving grounds next week and see what kind of depth it has. I like the machine alot and although it's a little noisy at times it's a keeper. I dug about 60 coins last night and ended the night with 15 wheat's and a silver ring but unfortunatly no silvers.
