I am new to the metal detecting world and this is what I found today along with a lot of pop tops, a few nails, and a couple coins.

I have a CZ-70 Pro and if anyone has any pointers or tricks with the machine, I would love to hear them!

Thanks in advance,

WOW ! nice going and post more we love to see what people find and read about how they find it. Harry:super:

Nice! Do what Dan-Pa posted.

Looks like you got some silver. In dirt I have found about 3 or 4 pieces or silver jewelry to every gold one. My beach ratio is closer to 2 silver to a gold.

There is a lot of junk dug, like hundreds per nice piece of jewelry. The Fisher manual is correct where it says "It's a sad-but-true fact that most gold rings, pull tabs, foil and nickels fall into the same conductivity range, meaning that a detector user has to dig a lot of trash to find rings ..."

You are off to a great start. Keep at it.
Cheers,
tvr
