my front yard.. just rcvd my qd2 today popped in fresh batteries and works great. my first impression was its about half the size i figured it would be and very light. i found 2 64 pennies and 8 more newer to 82' and 1 2005 quarter. really cool to think these have been in the ground year round for at least several yrs. cant wait till i find something really old! front lawn is like 40x50 small but i have much more learning to do before that is even checked thouroughly searched.

Great to have you on board...Your gonna love this hobby (affliction)...It is one of the only hobbies that pays you for your efforts.

One of the biggest problems you're going to have Greg is that no matter how much time you spend swinging that detector it will never be enough.....you will always be planning, thinking about and looking forward to your next hunt. GoGo is right....AFFLICTION says it all.

More activity usually takes place in a houses back yard than the front yard...

thanks for the good vibes everyone! ya im pretty fond of my quickdraw2 i want to upgrade to the 10" coil at that point its a pretty deep detector. so i hear anyway..my next may be the teknetics t-2 rev.5. maybe tax time?

I have a sharp shooter ll with a 10" coil the large coil has been great for coverage in the field its proved its self to me any way...only thing is i would like to go larger but my machine wont take a larger coil. which puts me in a quandree stick with the 10" or change everything and get a new machine ...humm !!
