first hunt with the g2 and a question

2 Much Trash

Well-known member
Took the g2 out for the first time a few weeks ago, just before the hurricane. Did pretty good considering it was the first trip out with this machine. I'm really liking this detector. I'm going back this weekend to the same spot. This time I think I'll set the disc at 60 to null out the nails completely. I did a little test in my back yard with some rusty nails, an eagle button, bullet, breast plate, real small brass buckle, dime, quarter, and half a horse shoe. Everything was high tone and high numbers except the nails of course, they were silent.
So what will I be missing at the Disc. set at 60?
Thanks Guys,
Willie

...and you'll lose nickels, but as a relic hunter, you may not miss all that much except for smaller lead...
