First hunt with the Explorer SE..

Pete in MI

New member
love the 'flute-y' sounds. First find was a car key for a Ford. A new shield penny, and a ring. Well, the ring isn't an ordinary ring. Those who know spark plugs will know what ring I found....sure sounded sweet. That's all I had time for. About froze as the wind picked up and slight mist hitting me.

I am also impressed with Minelab USA. In today's mail, I got a package from them. Inside was an Explorer SE manual, field guide and a bumper sticker "I'd rather be Minelabbing".

Thanks Minelab.

Thank you, God for yet another blessing from You.

I'm glad you like it. Now find some goodies and let us see them.

had one of those. was a good unit. i recently had to sell my ctx 3030. ive got an m6 to mess around with now.

Pete, great call out on Minelab :) I've had an XS and an X-Terra 705 and they're great machines. Looking forward to hearing about some awesome finds!

Godspeed!

Greg

We have said that the Flute-ie sound is silver. Glad you got a start with it, I look forward to seeing your posts! Now go find the truck that belongs to the key!

Congrats on your new detector and hope you get to find more goodies with it and less trash in your detecting as often as you can! 'Tis winter time, so may have to wait for better weather and softer digging in the ground! God Bless you and Sherry! Amen! Ma

Beautiful day today...sunny, warm and soft ground. Wouldn't know it was winter. Supposed to get up to the 60s between now and the 18th I think Sherry said. Gonna get out every chance I can...today (12-10-2015) included. Next post will have photos.

Key doesn't work in my Chevy lol. Went out again today...photos to come.

Thanks Greg. Went out again today...photos to follow. God bless you and yours.

Not familiar with the M6. HH with it and hope to see some of your finds as well.

Recently got the SE and not long ago got the Garrett AT Pro and still have it to learn and also have the ACE 350. I don't think I will need another detector now.

Got out today too..pictures coming.
