First Hunt With The CTX, 3/8/2014

Today's hunt. Two different locations. First spot, '47 Rosie, '26,'37,'40 Wheats. Second spot, a round band uniform button and some clab. One pocket spill had 2 Nickles a dime and 2 Memorials. All in all a good first hunt with the CTX. Got a lot to learn.

You did very well to find silver on your first hunt. A silver day is a good day. Nice one.
 
Nice haul on your first trip out, especially hitting silver... I didn't hit the silver on my first round, but I think I did ok with what I got. I'm like you... gotta a lot to learn too.
 
Great start for you, do you remember the VDI numbers ????, I got a 1965 dime & a 1965 Quarter - I wanted a silver so !!!!!! bad, maybe tomorrow, Happy Hunting & good luck with your CTX _ Cliff
 
Good hunt! Took me two months to hit my first silver coins then I found 6 in 2 weeks, couple more weeks went by then found 5. Hard to come by silver for me out here in the NW. Found a gold ring before I found silver. Enjoy your new machine! Ive got close to 150 hours on mine now and it really helps but know I still have much to learn, thank God and findmall for all the help I have found here!
