just got my X-70 on wed. this week, today was my day off and I hit up a farm house from the late 1800's
Today was a great day for me, I know it is my best detecting day EVER.........I ran in all metal, I love hearing everything in the ground, and those high flute sounds make it so easy to pluck the coins out of all the iron.
man this yard is loaded. Started off with a pocket spill under a large tree, it was 2 wheats and a 1929 buffalo nickel.
a few wheats here and there, then I got a 1940 mercury dime by the mailbox, went to the side yard, got a real faint deep signal. Out popped a 1906 Indian is super shape!
a couple more wheats, then my best find, this baby was the deepest coin I have ever got it was just such a faint whisper, but it locked on in every direction, about 9" down I got a 1882 seated liberty dime. This is my first seated, so I am on cloud nine!!!
ended up with 9 wheats, one indian, 2 silver dimes, and 1 buffalo.
what a good day!
