First hunt with my new x-70, turned out being my BEST day EVER

just got my X-70 on wed. this week, today was my day off and I hit up a farm house from the late 1800's

Today was a great day for me, I know it is my best detecting day EVER.........I ran in all metal, I love hearing everything in the ground, and those high flute sounds make it so easy to pluck the coins out of all the iron.

man this yard is loaded. Started off with a pocket spill under a large tree, it was 2 wheats and a 1929 buffalo nickel.

a few wheats here and there, then I got a 1940 mercury dime by the mailbox, went to the side yard, got a real faint deep signal. Out popped a 1906 Indian is super shape!

a couple more wheats, then my best find, this baby was the deepest coin I have ever got it was just such a faint whisper, but it locked on in every direction, about 9" down I got a 1882 seated liberty dime. This is my first seated, so I am on cloud nine!!!

ended up with 9 wheats, one indian, 2 silver dimes, and 1 buffalo.
what a good day!

Glad to see you finally pulled the trigger and got yourself a 70. It really is a great machine. Did you get these with the stock coil or 10.5?

Well congrats on an awesome unt! Man you were on a roll! Wheats, a IH, Merc, and a Seated!! I would say that was a great day of hunting for sure. Very nice work, Beale.

That sounds like a cracking start Goesfoever! Nothing like success to cement your confidence in a machine.
thanks for posting.

I say you had great day out...Thanks for posting pictures. Coins look in good shape for the dates.

You gotta love that mate well done on the finds!! The coins are in great shape too so nice pick up there. What took you so long to get the X-70? The stock coil is the bomb man I tell ya, I have found so many coins with the stock coil its not funny. Congratz on your new 70 and a superb day out.
All the best!
