It was 103 degrees and windy.A perfect time to head out with a new detector.I took it to 2 badly pounded tot lots.I was very pleasantly surprised.I only found $.67 in clad,I also found 2 neat buttons, both brass. One is in the shape of a flower with clear stones as petals and a larger clear stone as the center.I almost had to take one of my Nitro's when I first saw all the sparkle in the dirt. The other one is just plain brass.I found 17 pennies,4 dimes and 2 nickles.I dug some pulltabs.I was surprised how deep the MXT would hit small pieces of foil.I like the multi tones. It took about 4 coins before I got the pinpointing down.I hunted after dark for a short period of time just to try the backlight. It's great!!!The detector doesn't seem to be "noisy" to me.I guess I've come to expect a little noise from a threshold based detector.I ran it in coin and jewelry at the presets.I still dug a dime at close to 7 inches. It was way below the bark mulch in the hard packed clay beneath.I run the 6X10 coil on it.I traded my 12 inch concentric coil to someone for a new 10"D2 coil.I also bought a 5.3 concentric coil for it.I had a senior moment and forgot to order coil covers for those coils.I didn't want to scratch them up.I know,A.R. I plan on getting a 9.5 concentric coil and a 3X6 Shooter coil soon.I also tried my Bigfoot coil for about 5 minutes before I quit.I love that combo!!Soccer fields, baseball and football fields look out Bigfoot is on the way! Can't wait to continue the learning process tomorrow.I hope everybody gets a pouch full of goodies on there next hunt.Bill
