First Hunt with my new Garrett CSI Pro

Captain Hook

New member
I had my knee replaced a couple of years ago. When that happened I sold all my metal detecting stuff thinking I would never be able to metal detec again. Well a friend started talking to me about his finds. So, I went out and purchased A Garrett CSI Pro detector. Today I took it out for it's first spin in a couple of local parks. Nothing to write home about, but it was fun.

The CSI Pro is an AT Series designed to find bullets and spent shells. Keep us in the loop on how you do.

As you can see by the pictures it does a pretty good job finding coins as well. I only went with the CSI Pro vs the AT Pro because of money. I had the chance to purchase the cSI Pro through work for a couple of hundred dollars less than the AT Pro. Both units look and weigh about the same. The AT Pro has 6 search modes, 3 standard and 3 pro. The CSI pro only has 2 search modes both in the Pro mode. It has a custom Pro and a zero discremination mode. I set up the Pro Custom like the Pro Coin on the AT Pro. So far so good.

Excellent detector, sold my AT Pro International in 2012 and purchased a CSI Pro, used it on ocean beaches to our gold fields and anyplace in between.

Shoot ... Captain Hook.......looks like a pretty good table of assorted
Good finds to me...good job especially with a new knee
Best of luck...keep at it!
