First Hunt with my new E-Trac :detecting:

Got to use my new E-Trac, Finally! The snow all melted and it got up to about 37 degrees. I hit a local rental for a couple hours that I had pounded with the X-Terra 70, just to see what I might have missed. I would love to tell you all the specifics about where everything hit on the scale and all but to be perfectly honest, I just mostly listened to the aspects of the signal and referenced the screen to see about what quadrant the target seemed to want to stay in. I was running Andy's Pattern in conductive, multi tones. Sensitivity at between +1 and +3. Deep on, Fast off, High Trash On, ground difficult.
Besides the pictures,( 1903 Indian, Majestic Range Token and 1909 Wheat), I picked up a 1937 and 1941D wheat, an end of a very small silver spoon, a couple of memorials. I had a GREAT DAY! I really thought I might not get to use the E-Trac before spring. I'm lovin' it.
By the way, the scratch in the token is an old one :surrender:

Very nice finds and good luck with your new machine !

Man you did have a great "maiden voyage hunt"! That indian is in superb shape and I'm jealous of your token! Thanks for the pictures! I'm glad you were able to get a hunt in. I also started from day one with Andy's Coin pattern. I found it falses more, but I ran it so much starting out that I miss the falsing signals if I try and run factory.

Awesome first hunt with the E-Trac. Beautiful Indian; outstanding token--and the 1909 isn't bad either! Congratulations and thanks for sharing them with us.

Very nice maiden voyage. Thanks for sharing.

Nice Finds!!! Congratulations!

Great finds for a pounded site. Looks like all your old sites are your new sites once again!

Thanks everyone. I was amazed that I pulled that token out of the area I did, there was no trash next to it so it must have been just a combination of the multiple frequency's and the unbelievable depth of the E-Trac. I was thinking "There's no way there's something down here" it was so deep. I was shocked to pull out something so big (32mm or 1 1/4") that I had missed. I have gone over that exact area a hundred times with every coil I owned at every setting I could think to try with the X-Terra 70. I really thought there was no non-ferrous items left in that area of any kind. I can see the possibilitys here.
