First hunt with F5

Took my new (got last week) F5 out for a quick hunt today in the fog. Ground is about half unfrozen. Got permission to hunt an 1880 school house. Likely it has been hunted before, but thought I would give it a go. Still learning the controls. Had it set at 70 gain, 0 threshhold with iron and foil notched out. Got a 73-75 at 5". Pulled out a 1916-P Merc. Earlier I had gotten a similar signal and pulled out a token. So far so good on the F5. No work Tuesday so I will get out again before the front comes through.
