First hunt with CTX 3030

New member
Got the CTX last week and have been trying to learn the controls and doing some testing here in the yard between rain, wind and other duties.
Any way this was my first hunt and i am pleased with the results seeing as though i am a newbe.
The only holes i dug are the ones posted. Some of these were iffy for sure and they were others i wish i had of dug now but you live and learn.

Clad quarter was the deepest at 9+ inches. Go figure
The three wheats and 44 dime were in the 5" range.
The two pics of all. scrap were 4 inches or so and the machine kept trying to tell me not to dig but i had to.
The sheild was 5 to 6" and i started not to dig it.
The round ring object is a spark pulg ring and it was a perfect 12-44 reading. I would dig them all.
The long peice of copper was giving me fits and i finally got tired of messing with it and decided to dig it. I new it was not good but it was to close not to dig.
The small button was solid 12-42 and down 8 inches or so.
Almost forgot the buffalo nickle. Solid 12-13 and down about 6inches.

Wow that's a good way to start off..I haven't really put mine to the ground only to try and listen to the tones, It was so cold and windy I couldn't hear it very well.
