After a few warmer days the snow has melted and I'm ready to take the cz5 out to the old picnic grove tomorrow to see what I can find. The grove covers about 5 acres and still produces some old silver coins despite the fact I first hunted it in 1986. The last few silver coins I found there were in the 8 inch plus range and standing on edge mixed in with deep square nails. With a slow sweep the cz5 will high tone on the coins between the nails letting you know there is something worth investigating under the coil. I can't wait to get out and start swinging tomorrow....seems like winter has been here way to long.
Hope to have some pics to post tomorrow evening of my finds. Good luck if you get out tomorrow......
