The first hunt of the year yielded a total of 32 cents (quarter, nickle and two pennies). It was really sloppy out there yet so I hung it up after an hour but it felt good to get out. My big surprise came when I ran the change I dug up between October and December over to the bank. Lo and behold a 1963 Rosie jumped right out at me when I dumped it in the counting tray. Good thing I didn't run it through the counter. Not sure where I picked it up and how I could have missed it when I pulled it out of the ground. Just goes to show you gotta look at your finds close and pay attention when go to cash that change in.
