First hunt in my new home state

Have not had a chance to get out for a couple months as I have been busy moving east. I am now a resident of North Carolina and between the move and looking for somewhere to let the DeLeon loose it has been a long time between hunts. The city I live in does not allow detecters in the city parks but a town about 15 minutes away does so I got out about 8:30 this morning to beat the crowds to the parks. First park I found was a huge sports complex it looked like there was going to be a softball tournement there but I found a park employee and he said it was ok to hunt there but the soccer fields were owned by the local soccer club so I will try to get permission from them before I hunt. So I went to a different park and ran into another park employee and I asked if it was ok to detect there and he said sure he was really nice and told me they had a movie in the park last night and as he was leaving he said good luck. I spent about an hour there and found a handful of clad nothing old but I was just glad to be out. I went to another park and ran into the same park employee and we visited for a bit and I showed him my finds and he was impressed this park was a little bigger so I spent the rest of the morning here the DeLeon with the cleansweep coil did it's job, with plenty more clad here there are sevral more parks in this town that I want to find and check out tomorrow. Anyway here's today's count.
