First Hunt In Months :cam:

I hit my old faithful homesite today, over an hour drive, but I can usualy count on
some decent finds. As I neared the site, I could tell the dozer's had been back to work
and I having visions of more Indians and Barbers :wiggle: Sometimes the dozer's are
not your friend, LOL. I knew we were dry, but did not realize how dry, 2 in. of powder
on top of concrete .
Nice warm day here in IN. and it was the best one I have had in months actually. Didnt
find much but I enjoyed it. The coins are all chewed clad pennies I pulled out of the gravel
drive along with the dog tag. Under a pushed over pine tree I found the bottle, horsehead and
little bone die. I dug 2 odd copper caps to ? and a once silver plated jelly spoon. Thanks for looking .

Anybody know what these porcelain tubes are? They were all over the ground.

I believe the porcelain tubes are power line insulators . probably for old low voltage wiring .(i've seen these in old barns and houses) they drill a hole through a wall then insert the insulators. the wires are then run through them.

WOW, That's COOL . I remember the old farm house sitting on this site and it dated from that era .
Thank You for the link
