First Hunt, First Silver

Howdy All! I was able to go out and hunt for a couple hours with the new E-trac today. :detecting: I was able to hunt at the home I grew up in years ago. I knew where to hunt though... under the old clothesline that has been gone for about the last 40 years. :bouncy: Found coins from the 40's -70's. In them was my first silver, a 1953 s Roosevelt dime. I was lucky enough to have it be the second coin I found, and my confidence was boosted immediately for knowing the sound of silver, and coins on the E-trac in general. :clapping: A 1947 s Wheat, and several clad followed. A fun day, and also a great learning day! Unfortunately, I have a new laptop with no photo program on it yet to reduce the size of my pictures, so am unable to post them for now. Will start posting them as soon as I am able to reduce the size. BSC

Way to go BigSky. Thanks for telling us the story. Neat you found that dime in your old home. Sentimental two ways!!! Looking forward for the pictures.

You can easily resize in paint,a small program in all windows computers, under start, all programs,or programs, accessories,Paint.
Open paint then go to file and then open at the top,and find the pic you want to resize, click it and click open.
once it is opened go to image at the top and click stretch/skew,in the box that opens ,change the top two boxes in stretch to 25% and click ok and your done.
