First hunt and first silver of 2016….

40 degrees and partly sunny and much of the ground is thawed. Went with my friend John to an old pounded site that just keeps on giving up oldies. I got the 1898 Barber dime together with a 1920 wheat in the same hole. Also got a 1913 and 1947D wheat, An Avon Silver Plate spoon, a decorative piece, and $1.15 in clad. What a great time with a great friend.

Really good finds. I still have never found a barber. But I hardly ever coin hunt. Maybe five or six times a year.
