Went to the beach today, and guess what I found? Well, I will tell you, I found my first piece of GOLD today, a hoop earring, 14K, tried to get a good pic, but haven't quite got that down yet. I am excited and ready for more. But, I also found $4.71 in clad, 8 quarters, 19 dimes, 5 nickels, and 56 pennies. Some of the pennies and dimes are still soaking, but the rest is in the pic. Most of this was above ground, the wind uncovered alot of beach, the sand was blown off and lots of exposed beach was at my fingertips, boy did I have a blast today.
I used my Garrett 550 for hunting today. The waves were to much for me to get in the water.
I also came across the barbell tongue ring, a child's barrette, a black piece of something, it is really light, a piece of an earring, the post is missing, and the little glass ball with green leaves inside. Enjoy the pics, until next time, Happy Hunting all!
P.S. Gulf Hunter found one penny today, he hunted the water, and was disappointed.

I was not sure if it was Gold at first, had to wait til I got home to look at it thru the loop, but I was so excited when I seen that 14K. I hope there is more out there for me to find. I love this hobby. Thanks for posting a reply.
