First gold with the Tejon

I found this 18k bracelet at the ocean with my Tejon.
I set disc #1 just below foil, disc #2 at nickel. With the discs set up this way, I get a distintive sound from small iron at disc #1 and disc #2 is set where the detector will handle the wet salt sand. I grid the beach so Im going from dry to wet sand.
I really like this detector.

Nice find Neal, real nice. Did you get it in dry or wet sand? Bet you'd take one of those every time out <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">.

Hi JB. I found it in I guess it would be called damp sand. The tide was going out, waves had just been covering this area, maybe a half hour before, but they werent reaching it when I detected it. I call the wet sand the sand where the waves are still covering as they come in. I had the disc set just below foil and got a strong signal on it.
If I could get one every time out Id be out there every day <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">
