first ring with se , beach still sanded in my goal for new years is have se paid for lol. went to panama city beach low tide and hunted wet sand targets were few got 2 somthing in clad plus large 10k wedding ring. reading on meter was 08 08
after 2 weeks what i like about se is the depth on quarters and dimes and even at 15 inches they give a good signal , im sure the se will be a killer in fields and parks.
what i dont like is the falsing in the wet sand i talked to sandy at minelabe and she suggested using noise cancel in the air then on the ground seemed to help a little but cant scrub the coil on wet sand like she told i should be able to do. i have tried everything to try to get it to run smooth on wet sand no luck anyways quarters and dimes sound off though the wet sand however im not getting good crisp signals on nickels which meams wont get good crisp signals on gold. i know the lower sound is sweet after using my excal and sov but with se seems like a low drawn out sound like foil for nickels nothing like a coin. anybody know how to make the nickels sound better with the se
anyways good way to start the new year with gold HH jim
