First gold with new to me Sovereign

Got this one at Myrtle Beach over the weekend. Not much erosion, but did find one small hole on the beach. 10k with a small diamond and onyx. Love the Sovereign. Made an amphibious box for it. Poor man's Excalibur.

Congrats on the gold! That sure beats firing up the snowblower...

Very Nice Find. Sovereign is a great machine. Getting ready to head to Folly Beach in a few minutes. Maybe I will get lucky today.

lol - After a couple of recent snowstorms here in the NE, I totally agree.

Don't have a pic of the box, but it is just like the ones pictured in other threads on the forum. That's where I got the idea. I'm not very creative but I can follow directions. Just a Plano water proof tackle box and a cable cam. Bought both at West Marine. Don't remember the exact cost, but it was around 60-70 bucks. Had no idea they were so proud of their little cable cams. That little thing was around 25 bucks. I put the box in a camel back hydration back pack from Wally World. About 20 bucks. The whole package cost less than $100.00. I have $600.00 in the Sov. That's about half the cost of an Excalibur. I know mine is not water proof to 200 feet, but it works great for wading and I can change coils and head phones very easily.
