First gold with E-trac

I only had my E-trac for two weeks now and found my first gold ring right in my own back yard. My son and I went out to the back yard just before dark tonight just to swing the detector around and see what signals I get. My yard is small and I have hunted it 100 times before. I got a 09-06 signal and dug with my son beside me. It was only an inch down and I saw gold. I was so happy that my son helped me find a gold ring. After a rinse with water it turns out to be a 14k womans ring.

Great find! You'll probably dig a hundred .22 casings now looking for the next. The man's gold ring I dug was 10-10. If I'd been in a park there's a pretty good chance I wouldn't dug it. Thats usually a rolled up beavertail for me. Thanks for the picture and congratulations on the GOLD!

Great job man! I would never have dug a 09-06. Maybe thats why I don't have any gold rings....
