First gold ring!

Friday I got a chance for a quick hunt at one of my fellow Methodist Pastor's churches. Only had an hour to hunt and this place only had about an hour's worth of grass to check. Got one 1929 merc and a few wheats and as I was leaving I decided to check an area near some small bushes. Got a shallow 5-29 signal with my Explorer SE Pro. This is what I got. I thought it was just a big copper ring, but after cleaning it up I see on the inside it says 14k K.L.H.G.H. Not sure if stone is real. I told the Pastor if I found any jewelry I would have him check with his parishoners to see if it can be identified. Even if it is, it was still a great find.

That's just the begining. More to come.
Love that Gold.

Excellent find. Congrats! :clapping: Sometimes it's just that little extra effort that pays off the most.

Ring was returned today to church. Pastor says I will get it back in a month if no one claims it. Taken with my phone camera. Bad photo. Did ultrasonic cleaning on it and that helped.
