First Gold Ring

I've been detecting since 1972. I know I've dug my own weight in pull-tabs and bottle caps, at times I've been lucky, and at times at the end of a hunt, I had nothing to show but an apron full of junk, but this morning, finally, my first gold ring. I didn't even allow myself to get excited thinking it's probably a grommet ring, but then I came home and shined it up and looked at it with a loop and Bingo!
It only took 40 years! Thank You Tesoro!
