The sensitivity for small pcs. of metal is amazing. These finds are from my back yard that's been hunted to death and a bark filled play area at a Elementary School off Beatties Ford Rd. This just goes to show that you can't find it all until you get a Explorer. This is my first Gold Ring with the explorer, it hit solid at 4" with a digital reading of 12 on ferrous, and 00 on conductivity. The ring is 18KT, with 12 diamonds and a large Ruby in the center. I also found a small ear ring with diamonds, and one third of a 14KT gold bracelet missing the stones-barely got a reading on this one, had to sweep over it quite a few times before I got a solid tone. I found the Belt Buckle ring saturday about 7" deep in the backyard. Also found 3 Mer's, all from the 40's, 2 Silver Roosevelts, and 10 Wheat pennies the oldest being 1916 up to 1952-D. All the nickels and clad coins hit really solid. Found a apron full of foil, small aluminium pcs, and lots of pencil eraser ends, but it was worth it. I would like to thank everyone for their advice, and comments on various settings on this forum, THANKS AGAIN--DEH59
