first gold ring with f75

Hit my first gold ring yesterday with the f75, A hefty, 1977 10k high school class ring. I was in tones 3h and received mid and high tones with readings of 53 to 71. I pinpointed the high tone, 70 reading and at 3' recovered a clad dime. Checking the hole again, I got the mid tone and a 53 to 57 reading about 2" out from where the dime was. After pinpointing, it locked on 53 and at 4", out popped the ring. I was hunting beside the sidewalks leading to athletic fields. HH jim tn

Randy, I've found numerous gold wedding rings over the years, but that is only my second class ring since starting with this great hobby in 1972. It does take a lot of digging to find gold. HH jim tn
