First gold ring for me

While in Florida last March, a guy asked me to find his girlfriend's engagement ring HE lost. He told me it was in the sand around a garbage can, so I figured he was legitimate so I looked and found it the first pass. While it was in my hand covered in sand he yelled "That's it" and took it from me,asked if I wanted anything for looking and left after I said no. His suspicious behavior caused me to follow him and he walked over to three other guys and sat down. No girls around!! I think I helped him find a ring belonging to someone else. So my first real gold ring with my Excal came last Tuesday while in the surf on a New Jersey beach. It is 14k, but not sure what the pink stone or pearl is, also has 4 little diamonds?
