First gold on a two ring day!

I went out yesterday with my brother for a short morning hunt and sure am glad we did! We hunted an activity field near a local high school for about two hours. We were both finding the usual modern clad when I got a signal that was just as a penny. I sure was surprised when I dug this sterling silver ring. I have had several small silver rings come up as strong penny signals. I went to show my brother and we were both excited and detected for about another 40 minutes and decided to start heading back to the car. Still swinging my M6, I decided to dig one last signal as we approached the car. It was a sketchy nickel signal with a 10-12 VDI. It was a nugget shaped mens 14K gold ring with a small diamond chip. I was so excited as this was my first gold or diamond. This is my second year with my M6 and last year I found 28 rings, but no gold! So it was nice to get that skunk out of the bag. We live in Montana and on the state flag it says "Oro y Plata" which means silver and gold. What a Day!

Two very nice rings:clapping:Great job!

Nice rings! Congrats on your first gold and diamond ring! Does it fit? I love the story ................ "Still swinging my M6, I decided to dig one last signal as we approached the car." Larry and I both had to chuckle. There has been so many times that we were headed for the truck and dug "that last signal" and found something special. I wonder how many others it's happened to also. Anyway..... great finds and thanks for sharing and I love the pic! HH to all, Nancy

Nice rings! CTR silver rings are found by many including myself. Mormon rings, meaning Choose The Right. WTG!
