"> Hi folks ! Been a while since I had anything to post about. I've been out detecting for a month now but most of my hunts were ground hunts because of the high water level. In fact, today i started the day in front of an old church. All i dug was a 47 dime and I said I had enauph.. I needed a gold fix !
So I ran to a beach not far from the site. I has been heavily hunted by me over the last two years and I wasn't expecting mutch.
In fact, not mutch was exactly what i had. a few pennies, some dimes and quarters. rain started to fall and my wadders were leaking like h*ll! So I was about to give up. I said to myself, I'd take a ring and leave. Any ring would do, even junky one. Then, as I was walking to my car, I dug a hefty Silver men's band. Oh well, at least i got a ring ! Very next signal, two feet apart from the first and out came the shiny yellow stuff i like so mutch.
well a men's gold ring ! Yeppy ! first gold of the season ! And a 14K (4.4. grams)!
Well I asked for it and promised to leave right away... got my rings and left. Is there more ? I'll see that next august when i get back to that site!
On the picture, you see today's results.. not a lot of money, but a pleasant 3 hours hunt. So far I got 21 silvers this season, but 90% are coins.
