First gold in soccer field

Joel-Winnipeg

Went to M.D. a part time soccer field. They had just finished painting the lines for summer use. I gridded (detected) the whole 2 acre field - took me about 8 hours to do.

Dug up lots of junk as you can see by the pile.

Grand total of clad coins was $13.40.

Here's a picture of the junk jewelry two more junk rings and a lady's watch which was probably expensive enough in it's time. The glass crystal must have been hit with a lawn mower blade.

Here's the ring (gold) likely a lady's 10K ring as it barely fits on my small finger.

Another picture of the ring.

Thank you for looking.

Now that you removed the junk .Set your detector wide open -big coil and get the stuff you missed you might be surprised how many coin's you missed.......HH...........Hobby...

Wow that is good day swinging the coil!

You made quite a haul bud. If I had spent eight hours hunting they would have carried me home in a basket.

I have done several whole soccer fields and it usually takes me about 3 days. One each for both sides of the field and another for the sidelines. You got a great reward for your efforts, plus a boatload of clad. A fantastic hunt in my book.

How are you feeling the day after?
