First GOLD for the year.....finally!

Finally got my first Gold for the year. A nice 5.97 gram 14K wedding band.
Its hard to see but it is White and Yellow Gold. Also found alittle change,
a junk toe ring, and a cool piece of beach glass that is almost shaped like a heart.

Yesterday I got this nice Silver and Diamond earing. I tested the stones...they are REAL,
64 of them.

The AT-Pro has been real good to me lately!! Now that I broke the no gold streak I'm
sure there is more to come...thats what happened last year.
 
WTG. Can you explain how you got on a roll? There's some reason I I think you should try to figure out what it is. When you are forced to describe it, you learn.

I know for a fact that when things are right many people can feel it. It's beyond the five senses. Some people describe it as "confidence" that you KNOW you are going to find it. But that is only a cheap description. It's as though the cells in your body are somhow attracted to it. Like an urge or something.
 
All I can say is persistence, patience, and faith that I knew it was only a matter of time. I know my machine very, very well and I knew that it was a gold ring before I dug it. I have done alot of testing with different gold rings both air and buried in the sand...I know how my detector sounds off on them and the numbers back it up. I do constantly imagine silver and gold rings in my mind when I'm hunting...maybe the power of positive thinking...LOL. I also study the beach and where the people are earlier in the day, then go back in the evening to hunt when most people have left. If I had to sum it up with just one word it would be "Persistence"...I hunt alot and when you do, its only a matter of time!
 
Persistence is a short word. Some of the learning that goes with it may be at the subconscious level or just below the conscious threshold. The knowing.
 
Just got back from the local jewelry shop. Picked up a Gold and a Silver polishing cloth...good investment at only $10 each. Had them check out and value the 14K ring and replacement value was estimated at between $950 and $990. That was a pleasant suprise.
 
Nice haul, Diggin-It! That's a bunch of diamonds!!!
